The team still holds a 7-2 record.
Former SDSU head coach John Stiegelmeier was in Brookings yesterday for a book signing,
Stiegelmeier spoke with our Parker Brown before the team’s game against Indiana State.
John Stiegelmeier said, “I think what Dan has done with what he came into, and I don’t mean that negatively, just reality, has been amazing. In fact I label him coach of the year and the season’s not over. Why is that? Because of the number of players he had to replace, the coaches, the support staff, and he did it in a short amount of time and he did it to a really high level.”
Coach Jackson has also had to deal with injuries to the team.
