TUALATIN, Oregon — The body of a man was recovered from a lake in Tualatin on Saturday, and police said preliminary findings indicate no signs of foul play.
Officers responded to a report of a body in the water around noon Saturday at Lake of the Commons, located at 8325 Southwest Nyberg Street, according to the Tualatin Police Department.
Responders located and recovered the body of a man, identified as Gary Schott, 69, of Oregon City, police said.
Preliminary findings indicate no signs of foul play, according to police. The Washington County Medical Examiner's Office is conducting an investigation to determine the cause and manner of death.
The Tualatin Police Department extended its condolences to Schott's family and loved ones.
