OREGON, USA — Burgerville is offering free meals to children affected by the interruption in SNAP benefits , the restaurant chain announced Sunday.
From Nov. 3-9, Burgerville will provide a free kids hamburger or cheeseburger basket to children whose families show their SNAP benefits card at any location, according to the company. The meal kid's fries and a kid's soft drink.
The free meals are available in-store and at the drive-thru from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., with no purchase necessary, according to Burgerville. Children must be present to receive the meal.
The offer will run through Nov. 9 at 11 p.m., or until SNAP benefits have been reinstated, whichever occurs first, the company said.
