HOPKINSVILLE – (TNS) A Hopkinsville woman expecting a delivery of medication a few days before Halloween instead discovered body parts at her doorstep.
Christian County Coroner Scott Daniel confirmed that two arms and four fingers were accidentally delivered to the woman’s home instead of her medication.
Daniel told the Herald-Leader he picked up the body parts Wednesday, Oct. 29, and transported them to the morgue.
The parts were later retrieved by the courier.
Daniel believes the mix-up occurred with the courier service, airline or freight company.
The woman did receive her proper medication, Daniel said.
