The Indian men’s team head coach, Gautam Gambhir, and the T20I skipper, Suryakumar Yadav, extended their heartfelt wishes to the Indian women’s team after they secured their maiden ICC World Cup title on Sunday night at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

India defeated South Africa in the final, clinching a 52-run victory and ending their long wait to lift their first ICC trophy. Harmanpreet Kaur made history as the first-ever captain to lead the Indian women’s team to a victory in the finals of an ICC event.

Gambhir and Suryakumar congratulated their female counterparts with posts on X.
