BUSHLAND — It's been nearly two months since the Dalhart football team lost a game.

After falling against Class 4A Perryton on the road in Week 2, the Wolves have reeled off seven consecutive wins, including a 31-7 win in Bushland on Halloween. With the Week 10 victory, head coach Joey Read's team moves to 8-1, but the road to this point hasn't been without adversity for the group.

Dalhart started the season with 10 offensive lineman, but after injuries, is down to just 8 players in the trenches. That hasn't stopped the team from coming within reach of a District 1-3A Division I championship, though, as the Wolves welcome Shallowater to town in Week 11.
