A number of Fayetteville institutions are celebrating milestone anniversaries in 2025.

The city itself turned 242 this year, established in 1783 after the Campbellton and Cross Creek settlements joined to form what is now Fayetteville.

Ranging from restaurants and shopping centers to a hospital, a museum and even a public utility, here are 13 Fayetteville institutions marking notable anniversaries.
