After India ended their long wait to secure an ICC Women’s World Cup trophy, wicketkeeper-batter Richa Ghosh’s childhood coach, Gopal Saha, expressed his congratulations to the team, noting that the unfinished task from 2017 has now been completed.

India competed in their third World Cup final, having previously reached the title decider in 2005 and 2017, where they finished as runners-up behind Australia and England, respectively. “It feels so good. The unfinished task from 2017 has finally been completed. India’s victory brings such happiness. Congratulations to everyone! Keep playing well and move forward," Saha was quoted as saying to IANS.
