The world stands at a crossroads. The latest science leaves no doubt. We are on course in the short-term to overshoot the 1.5 degrees Celsius limit agreed in Paris . The U.N. secretary-general has warned that “the era of global warming has ended; the era of global boiling has arrived.” Floods, fires and droughts are no longer isolated events.
