A car crashed into the central reservation on the A38 in Plymouth, causing delays for motorists.

Emergency services were called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash on the eastbound carriageway at Lee Mill bridge on Friday evening (October 31).

A car crashed into the central reservation, blocking one lane for around two hours.

At the time of the crash, PlymouthLive reported the road was blocked between the A3822 Forder Valley Road and the A3121 Kingsbridge Road.

It is not believed that anyone suffered any injuries.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called at 8.05pm on Friday 31 October following a single car collision on the A38 eastbound at Lee Mill Bridge.

"The car was in collision with the central reservation. One lane was blocked until 10pm.
