On Monday at 5:08 a.m. a beach hazards statement was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 1 p.m. for Clatsop County Coast and Tillamook County Coast.
The weather service states, "Sneaker waves possible."
"Minor flooding, up to 1 foot above ground level, during high tides is expected in the low-lying areas near bays, sloughs, and the lower reaches of the coastal rivers. Expect flooding along portions of Highway 101, including near Raymond, Seaside, and Fraser Road in Tillamook County," explains the weather service.
