On Monday at 5:08 a.m. a coastal flood advisory was released by the National Weather Service valid for Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for Clatsop County Coast and Tillamook County Coast.
The weather service describes, “Tidal overflow flooding expected.”
“Minor flooding, up to 1 foot above ground level, during high tides is expected in the low-lying areas near bays, sloughs, and the lower reaches of the coastal rivers. Expect flooding along portions of Highway 101, including near Raymond, Seaside, and Fraser Road in Tillamook County,” explains the weather service. “A Coastal Flood Advisory means that tidal overflow flooding is expected.
