In the gold-hued Plaza Hotel ballroom, beneath dazzling chandeliers, an army of philanthropists, New York power players, and everyday do-gooders will unite for a shared mission: to end elder hunger in the city. For the past four decades, the Power Lunch has been the organization’s largest annual fundraiser to gather the necessary resources to support its continued meal services and companionship for New York’s elderly population.
