Shillong, today: BJP MDC from Tura Bernard N Marak expressed disappointment over the unfulfilled assurances made by the Chief Minister and the Sub Committee regarding the salaries of GHADC employees.

Marak said the commitment to provide a year’s salary within October and a monthly salary from November remains unfulfilled.

He urged the Chief Minister to instruct the CEM to release the salaries, fulfill the assurance, and provide the promised benefits to all employees without partiality. He also stated that elected MDCs should be treated equally and that all benefits should be added fairly, as these benefits are part of the Agreed Text of Agreement signed by ANVC and ANVC.B groups.
