There will be interruptions along portions of the Lakeshore West GO service on Sunday, Monday and early Tuesday morning to complete critical bridge work that was delayed due to the Blue Jays World Series games.
Metrolinx said the work had been scheduled for Nov. 1 and Nov. 2, but had been delayed to make travel convenient for Blue Jays fans.
“We continue to cheer alongside you throughout the Blue Jays World Series,” Metrolinx said. The work will begin after Game 7.
“It’s essential that these upgrades are completed quickly and safely.”
On Nov. 2, commuters can expect that the Lakeshore West trains will run on a 30-minute schedule between Niagara Falls and Oakville GO. There will be no train service, however, from Oakville GO to Union Station.
