Srinagar, November 3: The Indian Army on Monday paid rich tributes to its bravehearts who laid down their lives while fighting a fidayeen attack at the Public Relations Office in Badami Bagh Cantonment, Srinagar, in 1999.
In a statement issued to Kashmir Convener, defence spokesperson said in a solemn remembrance ceremony held at the Public Relations Office, all ranks gathered to honour the memory of Major P. Purushottam, Subedar Brahm Dass Sharma, and four other soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice defending their post and protecting civilians during the terrorist assault.
