Tension is boiling over in Dallas, with the Cowboys’ defense slipping to 31st in the league. The unit has given up a shocking 250 points over the last eight games. Now, things hit a new level when head coach Brian Schottenheimer admitted he had to make a tough decision for the defense.

He has to spend a lot of time in the defense meeting with the defense coordinator, Matt Eberflus. He attended the defense meeting as a consultant, back in 2o22. But having been a coordinator himself in the past, the coach isn’t fond of it. “Having been a coordinator and having had head coaches come and sit in my meetings, it’s tough,” he shared.
