We dug into the data behind the buzz and spoke with one of the researchers behind the study to find out.

According to the Texas A&M Transportation Institute’s 2024 Urban Mobility Report , Thursdays have overtaken Fridays as the worst traffic day nationwide. But Atlanta bucks that trend slightly: drivers here face the most delays during the 4 and 5 p.m. hours on Wednesdays.
