CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A second suspect was found guilty in connection with the kidnapping, torture, and murder of Alishah Pointer, 22, in 2021.

Anthony Bryant’s trial began on Oct. 20 in front of Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Judge Mollie Ann Murphy.

On Oct. 31, Bryant was found guilty of two counts of aggravated murder, three counts of murder, two counts of felonious assault, two counts of kidnapping, and one count of conspiracy.

No sentencing date has been scheduled.

In September, Brittany Smith pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated murder and one count of conspiracy to commit kidnapping.

The guilty plea came in the middle of Smith’s jury trial in front of Judge Murphy. Smith will be sentenced Nov. 19.

The remaining four suspects, Hakeem-Ali Shomo, Nathaniel Poke Jr.
