HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has announced a lane closure for State Road 168 in Gibson County.

Officials say beginning on or around November 5, crews will close one lane of State Road 168 near Mackey. This lane closure will occur between County Road South 750 East and Stoffel Road.

INDOT says this lane closure will allow for pipe lining work to be performed. Officials say this project is expected to take a month to complete, depending on the weather. INDOT says a temporary traffic light will control the flow of traffic through the work zone.

INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions and use extra caution while traveling in and around work zones.
