YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Reports said a man who led police on a chase late Saturday from the West Side to Pennsylvania and back to Youngstown was driving up to 120 miles per hour before he was stopped.

Christian Clinkscale, 19, was booked into the Mahoning County jail on a charge of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony.

He is expected to be arraigned later Monday in municipal court.

Reports said police spotted a Jeep about 10:45 p.m. that was wanted in connection with a shooting earlier in the day and followed it into Interstate 680 south from Oakwood Avenue.

When police tried to pull it over at Market Street, it drove away at speeds of up to 120 miles per hour, reports said.
