LAGRANGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Poughkeepsie man was arrested for allegedly having large quantities of cocaine and fentanyl. Jaquon Dancy, 30, was charged with two counts of first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
State Police reported stopping Dancy on Halloween at around 2:32 p.m. on the Taconic State Parkway in LaGrange for a traffic law violation. Troopers had K-9 Vinn conduct an exterior scan of the vehicle, which resulted in the K-9 alerting them of the presence of narcotics.
After searching Dancy's vehicle, troopers reported finding over five pounds of cocaine, over eight ounces of cocaine, and $1,435 in cash. Dancy was arraigned in the Town of LaGrange Court and place
