BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Families across the Capital Region are still left in limbo with uncertainties on when SNAP benefits will return. One Ballston Spa family shared their struggles and concerns during this time and what their plan is moving forward.

Marissa Bowen and Devin Rowden Sr. have three kids together in Ballston Spa. The couple shared that they have been using SNAP benefits on and off for the last few years to help cover the cost of groceries. Bowen showed NEWS10's Vanessa Blasi a lengthy receipt that she said only feeds her family for about two weeks.

"When you're meal planning, you tend to get receipts that look like these," said Bowen.
