Steve Howey has joined “ Ransom Canyon ” Season 2 at Netflix in a recurring guest star role, Variety has learned.

Howey will play Levi, Staten’s (Josh Duhamel) half brother. The character is further described as “a mountain man of sorts who lives off the land.” Along with Duhamel, Howey appears alongside fellow cast members Minka Kelly, Lizzy Greene, Garrett Wareing, Jack Schumacher, Marianly Tejada, and Casey W. Johnson. Production on Season 2 is now underway at Netflix Studios Albuquerque.

Howey is best known for playing Kevin Ball across all 11 seasons of the hit Showtime series “Shameless.” That show wrapped up its run in 2021. Howey also led the TV series adaptation of the “True Lies” at CBS following “Shameless” and is known for his role in the popular sitcom “Reba.” His othe
