A delgation that included Emerson, sisters Alicia and Melissa Googoo, and Ashley Wilcox addressed council to advocate for making Ontario’s sex offender registry public following the August sexual assault of a three-year-old Welland girl that left first responders shaken.

Niagara Regional Police arrested Daniel Senecal, 25, of Welland and charged him with aggravated sexual assault on a person under 16, assault, assault by choking, break and enter and sexual interference.
