AUSTIN, Texas — The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has lifted another ground delay at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) for Monday, Nov. 3.
The FAA said Monday afternoon that the ground delay was in effect from 3:30 p.m. CST until 8 p.m. CST. It impacted flights coming in from 1,400 nautical miles. The FAA initially said departures to AUS would be delayed an average of 37 minutes but later amended that time to 58 minutes.
The FAA listed "staffing" as the reason for the ground delay.
This most recent delay at AUS comes one day after a delay on Sunday, Nov. 2 , which started in the morning and was lifted sometime before 5 p.m., and just a few days after another delay on Friday, Oct. 31.
