Alabama football had a week off to recover from some of its injuries. As a result, head coach Kalen DeBoer said he expected the Crimson Tide to be a bit healthier against LSU on Saturday.
Speaking to reporters Monday in Tuscaloosa, DeBoer said he felt the most positive about offensive guard Geno VanDeMark’s chances of playing against the Tigers.
“VanDeMark is making good progress,” DeBoer said. Been practicing this last week so expect him to be ready to go.”
VanDeMark has been a starter for the Tide this season, though part of a huge offensive line rotation. He missed the South Carolina game, and Jaeden Roberts played all 69 offensive snaps in the guard position.
