JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. —

Some of southern Indiana’s best food will take center stage during the Taste of Jeffersonville on Thursday.

The event will feature more than 35 Jeffersonville chefs and restaurants, all putting their best food forward.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Taste of Jeffersonville. According to President Nikki Elder, the event raises thousands of dollars each year for various area nonprofits.

“We’re very diverse,” Elder said. “We try to keep it to small charities that don’t get government funding. We try to give a hand up to everybody that we can.”

The event starts at 5:30 p.m. for VIP ticket holders and 6:30 p.m. for general admission ticket holders.
