Marnus Labuschagne says he has struck his best form with the bat in six years, as the men's Ashes series fast approaches.
Labuschagne posted his fifth century in eight innings for Queensland this season when he helped the Bulls record a 96-run win over NSW in their One-Day Cup match on Monday.
His 101 (111 deliveries) against the Blues in Sydney took his domestic-season average to 84.87 across all formats.
Labuschagne's glut of runs comes at the right time, with the first Ashes Test beginning in Perth on November 21.
He said his form matched his performances for Glamorgan in English County cricket early in his professional career.
"The only one I can think of is probably 2019 at Glamorgan as a period of time," Labuschagne told reporters on Monday.
