CARMEL, Ind. — A Carmel nurse practitioner has been arrested again and is facing more charges after allegedly lying to police about "stolen" items with the intent to get insurance money.

Katherine Curtis, 34, is now facing charges for fraud, insurance fraud, counterfeiting; forgery, obstruction of justice and false reporting, according to court documents.

Curtis was already facing 31 charges after allegedly overprescribing medications and writing fraudulent prescriptions.

Around 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, court documents say Carmel Police Department officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Rosemary Gardens , near West Smoky Row Road and Monon Trail, for a report of a burglary.
