Tuesday, November 4 is Election Day in Georgia!

Elections will be held across the state, including in Whitfield, Dade, Catoosa, Murray, and Walker counties.

"We have a statewide public service commissioner for two seats, seats two and three and we have a county-wide SPLOST and then we have a few municipalities; the city of Lafayette, Chickamauga, and the city of Rossville are also having elections we host for them,” Danielle Montgomery, Director of Elections for Walker County.

The whole state will be voting to fill two seats on Georgia's public service commission. Members of the public service commission regulate and set rates for electricity, gas, and phone services.

Montgomery says there are a lot of reasons to come out and vote.
