FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- A Fort Wayne man was sentenced to 110 years in prison for a woman's murder that occurred in 2023.
Sedrick Williams, 32, was found guilty on October 3 for the killing of Vanessa Brabson, 34, and sentenced to 110 years in prison on Monday.
Williams is charged with the following: • Murder • Two counts of Dealing in a Narcotic Drug Manufacture/Deliver/Finance, amount of 10 or more grams • Dealing in Methamphetamine, amount of 10 or more grams • Resisting Law Enforcement where defendant knowingly/intentionally forcibly resists or obstructs • Firearm used in the commission of an offense resulting in death
Brabson’s body was found the morning of October 20, 2023, in a vacant lot near the 900 block of Sherman Boulevard.
