Who will call plays for Auburn after Hugh Freeze’s firing?

With Hugh Freeze now fired as Auburn’s head coach, there will be somewhat of a shakeup on offense.

Freeze was Auburn’s primary play caller, meaning that role will need to be replaced for the remainder of the season. Interim head coach DJ Durkin announced on Monday that offensive coordinator Derrick Nix will take over play calling duties and will be the team’s “sole play caller.”
