A Jefferson County 19-year-old has been charged in a summer traffic crash that killed two teens and injured multiple others

Kamden Ryan Willis is charged with two counts of reckless murder with extreme indifference to human life in the July 20 deaths of Tristan Drake “Tink” Cox, 19, and Treylen Anderson Floyd, 18.

Both victims were 2025 graduates of Corner High School where they had been student athletes.

Willis was booked into the Jefferson County Jail on Friday, jail records show.

Authorities contend Willis was driving under the influence and speeding when the deadly crash happened.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office responded at 2:58 a.m. that Sunday to the single-vehicle crash on Mt. Olive Road near Partridge Loop.

Floyd and Cox were pronounced dead on the scene at 3:24 a.m.
