HORACE, N.D. — Earlier this season, West Fargo Horace football coach Harvey McMahon referred to Kaisen Nordick as "one of the best athletes in the state."
After all, the Hawks' 5-foot-11, 190-pound defensive lineman earned all-conference and first team all-state honors as a junior in 2024 and will be in that conversation again this season.
Nordick now knows where his academic and football future lies, announcing his verbal commitment to Minnesota State Moorhead via social media Sunday.
Nordick was offered by the Dragons in late October. MSUM competes at the NCAA Division II level in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
As a senior this season, Nordick was once again a defensive force for Horace. He helped the Hawks to a 7-3 overall record and a 4-1 mark for a runner-up finish i
