The police have issued an update after a nine-month old baby was tragically killed by a pet dog in south Wales.

Emergency services were called to a residential property in Rogiet at around 6pm on Sunday, November 2, where the baby boy was pronounced dead at the scene after being attacked by a dog.

The Police, who are in the early stages of investigating the baby's tragic death, have now confirmed that the pet has been put down, Wales Online reports .
