GRESHAM, Ore. (KPTV) - Two people were taken to the hospital after police say a car crashed into a building in Gresham on Monday afternoon.

Officers responded to a reported crash near NW Division St and NW Victoria Ave, according to Gresham Police.

Police believe the driver of the car experienced a medical episode prior to the crash.

The driver and another person who was inside the building were taken to the hospital following the crash.

Gresham Police say the driver is in critical condition—likely as a result of the medical episode and not the crash—and the person inside the building who was hurt is expected to survive.
