CHAPEL HILL — UNC basketball 's Luka Bogavac has been cleared to play in the 25th-ranked Tar Heels' regular-season opener vs. Central Arkansas on Monday, Nov. 3
Bogavac, a 6-foot-6, 215-pound wing from Montenegro, has been reinstated by the NCAA, but the university hadn't yet determined the international prospect's eligibility status until Nov. 3. The institutional issue led to Bogavac's absence in UNC's two exhibition games vs. No. 8 BYU and Winston-Salem State.
UNC made the announcement via a social media post around 30 minutes before the Tar Heels tipped off the season against Central Arkansas.
