NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A child and mom were hurt Monday morning after being hit by an SUV near McMurray Middle School, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
MNPD received word at about 8 a.m. Monday that a silver SUV struck a child and mother who were walking to school at the intersection of Tusculum Road and Hasty Drive.
The child was transported to the hospital for treatment, and both the minor and parent are expected to recover, according to police.
