WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Ascension Via Christi is making a $100,000 investment to Guadalupe Clinic to help with its $1.7 million “Campaign Care” expansion.
The clinic said that routine illnesses can escalate if they are left untreated, leading to many avoidable emergency room visits. The campaign is working to reduce those avoidable visits by expanding the Guadelupe Clinic’s capacity to provide quality health care to the community.
David Sanford, the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Guadalupe Clinic, spoke with 12 News about why this expansion is needed.
“Unfortunately, with the changes in the Medicaid program, we anticipate that we’ll see far more patients coming here for care than we have in the past,” Sanford said. “So we want to be ready with new providers, new space, to provide
