A cold front will move across New Jersey Monday evening, bringing gusty winds and a chance of isolated showers.

The front is expected to move through the region by early evening, with the best chance for any showers across northern sections of the Garden State, according to the National Weather Service .

While precipitation will be minimal, winds will pick up from the west at 10 to 15 mph with gusts reaching 20 to 25 mph following the front.

Temperatures will drop into the low 40s overnight as cooler air filters into the region.

Tuesday will bring drier conditions with plenty of sunshine as high pressure builds across the area. Temperatures will be seasonable for early November with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s.
