FORT TOTTEN, N.D. (KMOT) – Officials with the Spirit Lake Tribe say the search continues for a woman who went missing Saturday .

Meanwhile, tribal leadership is raising questions about the Feather Alert system.

Danica White was last heard from on Saturday morning. Investigators say the 20-year-old White called 9-1-1 asking for help and mentioning she was cold.

White also goes by the name “Tynee.”

At a press conference late Monday afternoon, a spokesperson for the Spirit Lake tribe says crews searched an area of interest Monday morning by water and aerial teams, but did not find anything.

The tribe also pointed out that while a Feather Alert went out Saturday night, many received it without sound, and some didn’t receive it at all.
