Nationals MP Barnaby Joyce has ripped into Chris Bowen's renewables swindle factories, turning his attention to the proliferation of solar and wind projects.

Mr Joyce has been a outspoken proponent of the Coalition dumping net zero from its policy platform this term of parliament.

He used the issue as primary basis for him announcing he would not recontest New England at the next election, while sitting out of the Nationals' partyroom meetings.

But days after the party announced it would not recommit to net zero emissions by 2050, Mr Joyce has gone after the Energy Minister's renewables roadmap.

Speaking to Sky News host Laura Jayes, Mr Joyce said his electorate had been carpeted with solar and wind projects, while energy prices continued to rise.
