LARAMIE — The numbers should tell you Aaron Bohl is on cloud nine going into his Week 11 bye.

The second-year University of Wyoming defensive coordinator has put together one of the best units in the Mountain West, and that’s after returning just two defensive starters from a year ago.

The Cowboys rank second in the conference in scoring defense at 20.2 points allowed. They’ve pitched two shutouts in the same season for the first time since 1966, and their points allowed average sits 30th in the country.

But at 4-5 overall and 2-3 in league play, Bohl believes the numbers aren’t good enough.
