Nearly 270kg of illegal drugs with a street value of roughly $60 million have been seized as part of a major multi-jurisdictional investigation targeting a national drug syndicate.

Eighteen people were arrested and charged after detectives from the NSW State Crime Command’s Drug and Firearms Squad, together with Western Australia Police and the AFP, carried out 30 search warrants between May and October 2025.

The extensive investigation under Strike Force Bloomfield was established earlier this year to tackle the large-scale importation and distribution of illicit drugs through shipping, postal systems and air transport.
