TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Saturday was a tough one on the Highest of Seven Hills. After weeks of battling back into the SWAC race, Florida A&M saw those hopes fade as Jackson State powered past the Rattlers in the second half of a 41-16 loss.
Despite the loss, don’t expect James Colzie and his team to sit around feeling sorry for themselves. Games are still to be played this season, and plenty is still on the line including a winning season and another win in the Florida Classic.
FAMU knows however it can’t accomplish all that in one day, Colzie preaching a one day at a time mentality, knowing that all starts this week with taking down an Arkansas-Pine Bluff squad that would love nothing more than to spring an upset on the Orange and Green on the road.
