HUBBARD, Ore. (KPTV) - A small group of Hubbard residents came together Monday night, holding a prayer vigil for one of their own, 51-year-old hunter Devon Dobek, who has been missing in the Mount Hood National Forest since last week.
Monday marked the fourth day of the search effort southeast of Estacada. Multiple agencies led by the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office have joined forces to locate Dobek.
Over the weekend, hundreds of searchers used ATVs, drones, K-9 units, and cellphone and GPS tracking technology, though officials said signal coverage in the area remains weak.
At least 20 community members gathered in the rain at Rivenes Park to pray for Dobek Monday night. Rocky Sherwood led a Bible reading and prayer in the park’s pavilion as the group sang “Amazing Grace.”
