HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - With millions of daily users who can assume any identity they want and interact with each other, there’s no telling who you could encounter on gaming app Roblox.

Police say the online platform is where Canadian visitor Einreb John Pasuquin Dizon met an underage girl and traveled to Hawaii Island to have sex with her.

“We’re seeing it more and more, especially with Roblox,” sex assault prevention worker Andrew Aguirre of non-profit group Hoola Na Pua said. “Any platform, any software that has any communication features is potentially an avenue for exploitation to occur.”

Dozens of families and attorneys general in other states are suing Roblox over sexual crimes against minors.
