BOSTON — Jaylen Brown looked like he was tripped by Keyonte George late in the Celtics’ loss to the Jazz. But there was no foul call, and after Brown lost the ball, the Jazz got a crucial basket on the other end to take the lead.
Here’s a look at the play where Brown was seemingly tripped by George , though no whistle went off. The Celtics went on to lose 105-103 to the Jazz on Monday at TD Garden. After the game, crew chief Kevin Scott explained the call in a pool report .
“During live play the crew observed George slip and fall just prior to Brown slipping on the same spot resulting in the ball becoming loose prior to any contact,” Scott said.
