The high school football regular season came to an end Friday in the Greater Savannah area as teams finished off their games in Week 12.
There are 10 teams from the Savannah area that earned spots in the state playoffs as nine will compete in the GHSA postseason with Bethesda Academy playing in the SCISA playoffs.
There were some impressive individual performances on the football field Friday night.
On Saturday, cross country runners competed in Sectional meets throughout Georgia in qualifiers for the GHSA State Championships in Carrollton set for Friday and Saturday, Nov. 7th and 8th.
